Tasha Saca: President
Tasha is the Sales Manager at Brookdale Highlands. Brookdale Highlands offers a beautiful assisted living and memory care community for seniors. Tasha is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has her Master’s Degree in Gerontology from USF. Her entire career has been dedicated to serving the needs of seniors and supporting their families. She is proud to be serving her fourth year on the BLFS Board, with the last three as secretary.

Nicole Ramer: Venue
Nicole is the owner of Organized Haven. She and her team have been serving seniors in their homes since 2013. As Professional Organizers and Senior Move Managers®, they assist seniors and their families with the emotional and physical challenges of decluttering, downsizing, and moving, or aging-in-place. Nicole has been a member of Better Living for Seniors Polk since 2015. She is also a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and the National Association of Senior Move Managers® (NASMM). It is with NASMM that Nicole earned her certification in Senior Move Management, just one year after joining NASMM in 2016. She and her team take educational courses with both NAPO and NASMM to advance their knowledge in working with older adults as it relates to moving, aging-in-place, helping those with hoarding tendencies, dementia and cognitive decline, memory and forgettery, and communication matters.
Michelle Shiver: Secretary

RSVP is a federal program connecting seniors 55+ years of age with meaningful volunteer opportunities. Michelle is a Polk County native and holds a Master of Music degree in Bassoon Performance from Louisiana State University. As a Certified Volunteer Administrator, she has a clear philosophy volunteer administration, pledges to work within a professional code of ethics, and demonstrates her clear knowledge-in-use in the core competency areas of organizational management, human resource management, accountability, leadership, and advocacy. Michelle is serving her first term on the board and is a past member of the Education subcommittee.
Jenna Livingston: Membership

Jamie Taphorn: Treasurer
Jamie is an area manager with Encompass Home Health. She received her business degree from the University of Florida and is currently obtaining her MBA from Southeastern University. Her entire career and education has been dedicated to benefit the seniors within Polk County. She has been a member of BLFS since 2014 and is serving her first term as a Board member.
Rebecca Wolfram: Social Media
Rebecca is a Sales Director at Spring Haven Retirement, and truly enjoys helping seniors and their families in their search for the perfect community. She places a high value on community over competition in the senior living industry, believing that the best outcomes stem from educated professionals who are willing to work outside of their comfort zones. Rebecca is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, and her passion for serving seniors grew from watching her great-grandfather's journey through Alzheimer's. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys Orlando City Soccer games, photography, and spending time with her husband and dog.
Heidi McIntee: Outreach
Heidi has been in healthcare for 10 years and is currently a long term care representative with Vitas Healthcare. Her role is to provide education to long term care facility staff about the benefits of hospice services, end of life support, and aging in place. She received her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Central Florida and completed some graduate studies in criminal justice and psychology. Heidi has served on the Alzheimer’s Association Walk Committee and often runs in local races to help contribute to charitable causes. She is serving her first term as board member.
